Salt spring extra early
Weakly bolting garlic. The Turban group grows well in zone 5a and above. Ready to harvest 10 to 15 days before others. The most colorful. Its all purple striped. The more it is grown in a cold climate, the more colorful it will be, will have a fewer number of cloves (4 to 8) and it will form a stem. Conversely, if it is grown in a hot, subtropical climate, it will be whiter, with a greater number of cloves (8 to 14) and its stem will be soft.
How to use
This garlic is the first ready for the garden. It will also be the first to dry, towards the end of July for our zone 5b. This breath of fresh air will be appreciated in all ways. It keeps between 5 and 6 months (December-January).
